Guridy Insurance is operated by Julian Guridy, a licensed insurance agent in Pennsylvania ("I," "me"). This policy explains what information I collect when you contact me or fill out a form, including forms on Facebook and Instagram, and how I use it.
Information I collect
- Contact details: name, phone number, email, ZIP code and preferred language.
- Information you give me to get a quote, such as age, date of birth, household size, tobacco use, mortgage balance, income range and basic health questions a carrier requires.
- Records of our calls, texts and emails.
How I use it
- To contact you about the insurance you asked about and prepare quotes.
- To submit applications to insurance companies or the Pennie marketplace, only when you ask me to.
- To service your policy after you buy it, and to meet legal and licensing record-keeping requirements.
Who I share it with
I share your information only with insurance companies and the Pennie marketplace to quote or apply for coverage you request, with service providers who help me run my business (for example, my phone, email and customer-management tools) under confidentiality obligations, and when the law requires it. I do not sell your personal information.
Calls and text messages
If you submit a form or give me your number, you agree that I may call or text you about your insurance request, including by automated means. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are never shared with third parties for their marketing.
How I protect it
I use reasonable safeguards, including password-protected accounts and limited access, to protect your information. No system is completely secure.
How long I keep it
I keep information as long as needed to help you and to meet insurance record-keeping laws, then delete or securely dispose of it.
Your choices
You can ask me to see, correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, at any time using the contact details below. Some records may be kept where the law requires.
Children
My services are for adults. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If I update this policy, I will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
